Harness emails your students and families on your behalf at a handful of moments. This is the full list: what triggers each email, who gets it, and where to control it. Every one of these comes from your studio’s sending address (shown in Settings → Profile), and replies land in your real inbox. Each recipient gets their own copy: an invoice to two parents is two separate emails, and neither sees the other’s address. Nothing sends without one of the triggers above; there are no marketing emails to your students.

Delivery statuses

Every sent email is recorded in message history on the student and account pages, with a delivery status.

When an address stops working

A Bounced or Blocked address raises an Email bouncing warning wherever you would act on it: the student’s page and each affected contact card, the account’s page, and both lists. Update the address on the contact; the warning clears on its own once mail reaches the address again. One-off failures don’t warn. Only an address mail can no longer reach does. When none of an account’s billing recipients are receiving mail, its warning escalates to No billing recipient receiving mail. Add another billing recipient or fix an address; invoices keep trying to send either way. If the mailbox itself has been fixed but the address is still Blocked, email support@harnesscalendar.com to restore sending to it.
